The pianist of focus for this week was Lang Lang (pronounced closer to: Lahng Lahng)
Lang lang was born in 1982, currently age 38 years and he is a Chinese concert pianist.
Lang Lang is considered by many as one of the most famous and accomplished classical musicians of modern time. Even before he was old enough to play, his parents dipped into their savings to buy Lang Lang a piano. By the age of three, he was already taking lessons from his father – who had tried and failed at a music career of his own.

HOMEWORK:
A. So for the short part of the homework to conclude with Lang Lang watch his performance of the famous Liszt’s La Campanella etude. And again emphasis on watching, you need to spot what we were talking about in the club - his expressions and such.
B. Also there is the BIG homework. We talked a tiny bit about what a concerto is and listened to Tchaikosvk’s 1st concerto a bit so I will give you some amazing works to listen to. But don’t worry! It is due over the holidays and upcoming weeks, I don’t think we will be meeting next week due to well… yeah the holidays but I’ll definitely give you this amazing homework to do! Please find a way what is comfortable for you to listen, whether that would be listening to it while cleaning the house, cooking, doing homework etc. Take your time and I hope you enjoy!
